Summer Garden, 2023

Announcing this year’s summer garden boxes, featuring:

  • Tomatillos
  • Sweet 100 Tomatoes
  • Italian basil
  • Parsley
  • Cucumber

Grow baby, Grow!

Basil, Parsley

The basil was in low supply but I got best three starts. One may not make it. The parsley was transplanted from October 2022. Really proud it made it this from seed, especially given the torrential rains.

Sweet 100s, Tomatillos

The tomatillos did so well last summer, we had to do them again. The orange cherries did not so Erika suggested Sweet 100s instead. I think they’re the most flawless tomato for growing. We shall see!

The Cucs

Lastly we’ve our trough of cucumbers. The lemon version did well last summer but we just didn’t like them; too many seeds, too sour. So here we go with some classic slicers.

How I didn’t walk outta there with entire shelf is a miracle. Love gardening!

Three months later!
